This is an amazing project! Riitta Ikonen sent around 100 postcards from a few different countries (England, Japan, Finland, Russia and Spain). The project focuses on using mixed media and almost tests the postal service to see what is allowed! Only two out of the 100 did not arrive.

Sainsburys Competition Winner!
Anyone who knows me well, will know that i absolutely adore Pinterest and spend so many hours on it! I happened to find a competition by Sainsburys and managed to win it! You had to create a new autumnal pin board which featured at least five different images from the new Sainsburys autumn range.
I love a project and especially on Pinterest, so i spent a lot of time looking for the perfect images. It paid off as i received all of these lovely goodies!
Here is the autumnal pin board.. https://www.pinterest.com/ameliaamandine/sainsburysautumnstyle/
p.s excuse the photos below, these were taken quickly to show my mum!

Vintage Apple Crate Storage Seat Workshop
My boyfriend and I have just moved to Tunbridge Wells in Kent, and we happened to walk past a sign in the window advertising a craft morning to make one of these lovely traditional apple crate storage seats. All that was required was to bring your own material and a pair of sharp scissors.
It was such an enjoyable course! We added a stencil to the crate itself, assembled the foam topper and even created our own buttons to add to the seat - probably the most satisfying part of the morning!
There was around 7 people in the class and it was so interesting to see the different materials and text that was written on their boxes. You can view everyones and follow Kay's Facebook page here..
