Lino Repeat Patterns

Yesterday I created a repeat pattern using lino print.. I've never tried a repeat pattern before so kept it very simple!

I decided to carve 3 shapes on the top row and 2 complete shapes on the bottom.. then came the tricky part of cutting two half shapes so the pattern would match up. It just about worked!

Love the simplicity of it but now I'm dreaming of an extravagant William Morris style pattern..

Notebooks

These lovely little notebooks have just been added to my Etsy shop! 

 

I'm always drawing leaves so I created these detailed lino prints, they are printed onto brown kraft notebooks using high quality block printing ink. The notebooks are made from recycled paper and produced from plantation trees that are grown specifically for paper.
