Chelsea In Bloom
On my way to work this morning I spotted these two wonderful floral flamingos! They were designed for 'Chelsea in Bloom' - a chance for florist and shops around Chelsea to show their creativity and skills for the week of Chelsea Flower Show.
The theme this year is Fairy Tales, so each window display has a magical and ethereal theme. You can vote for your favourite here from Tuesday 19th May..
I absolutely love the Cinderella pumpkin and rose cushion by L.K. Bennett!

Lino Repeat Patterns
Yesterday I created a repeat pattern using lino print.. I've never tried a repeat pattern before so kept it very simple!
I decided to carve 3 shapes on the top row and 2 complete shapes on the bottom.. then came the tricky part of cutting two half shapes so the pattern would match up. It just about worked!
Love the simplicity of it but now I'm dreaming of an extravagant William Morris style pattern..
